The iphone either has a focal plane shutter, or the digital equvalent. The result is that as the shutter travels across the sensor while the camera is in motion (from a moving car) it creates distortion. I like this, because in a sense it represents the speed of the passing encounter, or non-encounter.

Saving myself from the mosquito nest I decided I MUST MUST MUST set up lights in, I sprayed this enough to double my carbon footprint and see the lightning bolt zapping the vecto art mosquito? Pretend the mosquito is my eyeballs and then you'll understand. Taken with tilt shift ap on teh iPhoner.

This is a start screen for a game I am thinking about. Its called Otaku (O-ta-ku) hide and seek. It could be for the iPhone. It would utilize the tracking capablities they have. You and some other iPhoners could play an advance game of hide and seek. You chose to be a hider or the one seeker. As a seeker you are given clues to the location of the hiders, through pirate maps (which dissappear quickly), and sonar pings (which disappear slowly and reveal the location of all hiders, but no lead dashes) due to quiz fails.
Quiz fail occurs when a hider fails a quiz. More specfically, after a hider has found a spot, they activate their hide status, which then causes a series of quizes (word, shape, puzzle etc.) as the person gets each quiz correct they are less likely to appear to the seeker. As they fail the more likely they are to appear to the seeker. The quizzes are timed and fast paced, failure to finish a quiz or question, results in a fail. This prevents hiders from simply not answering to stay hidden. The seeker will have the option to quiz, to gain more sonar pings or pirate maps. This is just incase the hiders are doing well on their quizzes. (Note: the seeker is given a few free sonar pings and pirate maps to start out with) But in the process they would be taking more time, hence losing points.
This game can be played city-wide or in a park. (Note: as the seeker gets closer to a specific hider, the quizzes go much faster. So the hider appears more frequently. However this can be inverted for indoors, close quarters games. So when the seeker enters a room with a hider they can stop paying attention to their iPhone and start looking behind or under things.) The last person to be found is the next seeker or the new seeker can be chosen by the group. Oh yeah! The seeker can only begin when all hiders have activated their hide status

So its "obessive hide and seek"
