Another day another line of people waiting to get on a MD-88 to Atlanta. Street Photography mixes two hobbies. People Watching and iPhoneagraphy. Taken with iPhone 3Gs CameraBag and CrossProcess
..... in-camera frame manipulation. THIS IS A TEST, THIS IS ONLY A TEST - a dreadful edit/mess - I'll post the others in more of a RAW TRONA IPHONE FEED. ;-} They run from one into the next, and the 'extremely abstract narrative' runs in cycles of three (many won't be as abstract as this image, however).
This all started in my doc's waiting room (nothing good/redeeming/non-virulent/ad nauseam, ever comes from such a place ;), and me playing with my ipad, iphone, and a book of French symbolist poetry (triangulation experiment... ;). On my old iphone (even though I still occasionally write about tech, I stubbornly hold onto my old, antiquated toys for some reasion), I started stretching image frames, overlapping, yep, one into the next, and editing and recombining, sort of doing a live remix with these ridiculously [inappropriate Czech expletive] iphone images. [e-sigh> I make my own fun..... ;) and it was/is! So, soon the deluge. I may keep them up for 23 minutes, who knows.
Thank you (for reading this far if for some reason you have, and..... ;) for stopping by.

The historic Barnett Carr house ..built as a federal style house (1795-1880) by Barnett Carr and expanded on by Jacob Obed Carr between 1840-1914. And finally Snyder Hiriam Carr made further additions to the house adding two more rooms upstairs and the Victorian porches, being the configuration it is today. There is nothing like a fresh coat of bright red paint on a building glowing in front of a blue sky. The weather has been great here in Kansas City the last week. This image was layered in DXP. Started with a photo of rust from a steel beam removed from a overpass being dismantled in the KC West Bottoms. Then ran it thru CrossProcess App and finished it off with PicGrunger.

All images taken and edited with iPhone 3Gs. Old VW Micro Bus with a second photo of a cardboard box layered on top to create a stamped ink effect. A third photo of aged plastic curtain turned yellow with highlight from the sun. This plastic curtain is covered with scratches. Layered with DXP using different blending modes for each image. CrossProcess App created the boarder.
