An der Geesthachter Elbschleuse bei Nacht
Down by the river (18)
At the Geesthacht Elbe lock at night
Between the Western and Southern Towers of CIBC banks, on King and Bay. The sun came out briefly as I walked by to give these bright reflections. Best seen enlarged. No. 3 of Walking Downtown Series.
This morning in the forest, before the heat is coming I made a nice walk with the dog through the forest and took this photo with the phone.
We were driving along the Yorkshire Dales when a few sheep ran across the road and up to this gate. The others dispersed quickly but this one looked pretty serious about his job as gatekeeper.
iPhone shot from the car. Edited in Snapsed.
ENG: A visit to the Brandenburg Gate in the late evening and with very few tourists. So visiting the landmark is fun even as a local. So I managed to get a panoramic shot that also meets my expectations.

Crazy Tuesday - Flat lay
Well, I do love a flat lay so how could I miss this theme? It just called out to me. HCT
Back later to catch up, expecting a delivery any minute, in the form of a four year old whirlwind grandson. Exhausted just thinking about it! ;)
ENG: If we turn around ourselves for a long time and then suddenly stop, we get a felt giddy (in German: Drehwurm). The ground seems to sway while everything around us continues to rotate.
I photographed this staircase before on March 9, 2019 and now here comes a new interpretation, photographed with my current smartphone.
I discovered this wonderful gem once again by chance while strolling around and entering a department store on the Frankfurter Allee in Berlin.

Day 330/365:
This is as good as it gets today. Our baby granddaughter is in hospital with bronchiolitis so our grandson is staying with us. He is such a live wire so we took him into town to expend some energy. He loves to go to this coffee shop for a babyccino. I just took a quick snap as we came out. Converted to monochrome and added a couple of textures (my own).
