Arrived the other day in the afternoon. Our Hotel is just lovely, Colonial style little gem. The little patio is just magic, Coquis everywhere (the Coqui is a tiny frog endemic to Puerto Rico, after sunset you hear them everywhere.
Had to do some maintenance on a few of the iPads we use at the YMCA. Had mine also in front of me. A member looked in and asked if that's the kind of computing we should be expecting to see at the YMCA in the future. My response, "you see it now. Its the present. I'm just trying to get the rest of the org to catch up."
There's not much that would prevent this from happening. Even if it weren't iPads - MS Surface tablets could also be used. Any tablets really. The issue is the software, not the hardware, or even the people.
So yeah, the irony of being an Apple hater and be given a gift by my parents for becoming a medical clerk.
They might think its funny gifting their son who is very vocal about Apple with an iPad Mini after all his hard work for the 1st 3 years of medical school. Meh... whatever. Time to learn how to use an Apple product again.
