The folks at Snugg sent me a "Snugg iPad mini Leather Case Cover and Flip Stand in Green" to review. It's decidedly not leather, but it still feels nice, with solid build quality and definitely good protection. While I can't see using the hand strap (the cover isn't secured when folded back), nor do I use a stylus, the single position fold stand is handy. The open design still holds the iPad snugly (of course), and all ports are accessible... but that also means the corners of your iPad might still be in danger if dropped. List price $39, $29 as of today.

This means the finished product colour is usually warm, rich tones of natural, orange hues and deep, rich browns. As the vegetable tanning process is time consuming and requires skilled artisans, leather goods produced this way are very expensive to produce and production is limited to small batches. Vegetable tanning is usually reserved for very high end, luxury leather goods.

The dock and all folders are made perfectly white on iOs 8 later iPad/iPad mini. White is called Shiro in Japanese.
