Ios island, Greece, famous for partying in night clubs, and then of course there's the charming hilltop island capital village, I avoided stopping at this island in the past, this time a ferry strike caused a last minute change in my itinerary (damn the fuckers, but Greece wouldn't be Greece without strikes) , but it worked out fine in the end, the island is just as pretty as the others, and much better value than Mykonos or Santorini. Night view coming tomorrow, no photos of drunk young backpackers vomiting in the streets, I promise.
A view of Chora, with the harbour in the background. The ferry can be seen entering the harbour. Taken in Summer 2002
As promised, no photos of young backpackers vomiting in the streets, party island Ios, Greece. Happy weekend to everyone.
