This is my little scalloped spoon which I cleaned up this morning so hopefully this doesn't look as tarnished as the previous upload using it. All I did with this is to place it on some rainbow coloured wrapping paper. The spoon measures approx 1.2” “ at its widest so I hope this qualifies for the Macro Mondays theme of ‘reflection’ HMM!
Part of a Welsh Tic Tac Toe Game to fit in with today's Macro Mondays 'misfit'. I was hesitant in using this in case it was construed as Politically Incorrect.
I struggled with this not knowing what I could do until I got up this morning and saw this bottle of water that I'd left overnight on my desk. So I held some coloured ribbon behind it and got this HMM!
For today's Macro Mondays theme of 'festive season'. These usually hang on our tree but I took them down and put them on some paper before cropping them to fit the size requirememts . HMM! and a Happy Christmas all ! 🎅 🎄
I could lie amongst these woolly creatures with their serene calm; their peaceful existence broken only by the musical bleats of their harmonic flock communication.

For the Macro Mondays theme of currency - this is a small key fob that contains one single £1 coin . HMM!
For the Macro Mondays theme of 'Vintage" - this is a brooch that my grandmother used to wear. It measures 1. 5" exactly HMM!
For the Macro Mondays theme of 'Corner' - a corner of a box containing jigsaw pieces. I’m not too certain how clear the edge or rather the the actual corner of it is though
He knows where he's going - he's heading into the light ! I love this scene. He looks so lost .... but he's not ! His parents are close by. So no, he's not Hansel at the edge of the big forest. He's Laurie, my grandson :o)
Hope you like this as much as I do !
Textures from Topaz, and one of my own.
This is part of the drooping cherry tree in our back garden - captured this morning before we went out for a few hours.
It was summer when we went away a little over a week ago . Now that we're home it's Autumn already as can be seen in this Rudbeckia in my garden
For the Macro Mondays theme of 'condiments'. To put the size of the spoon into context , I've put an older shot in comments. HMM!.
For the Macro Mondays theme of 'On top' - a winkle shell on top of a barnacle. Taken outside on my patio bistro table. HMM!
Today's Macro Mondays theme is 'Curves' This is the curved spout of my little milk jug against the background of my breakfast mug HMM!
I was grown up in peace and harmony and to have a war not far away from home is a horrible feeling
Just listen a song is calling: Alte Männer by Versengold. Perhaps thats the reason why
Friends, for me, at least 50% of the joy of photography comes from sharing my photos with others. From my heart, thank you for your interest in, and your faves and comments on, my photos. Thank you, also, for inspiring me with your endlessly creative photos, and for all I learn from you.
As some of you know, I've been dealing with a chronic health challenge for the past 6 years. Two weeks ago, I started receiving home hospice care. It means that the doctors feel there is likely 6 months or less mileage left on this body. The good news is that hospice makes available services and support that we have not had access to until now.
This development is no surprise and is actually a relief to me, as I feel it accurately reflects what I have been feeling for some time, but now the outside world will be on the same page. I've had many experiences in my life that let me know that the spirit survives the death of the body. So, basically, I'll be leaving one party and going to a different party on another floor. I feel very settled about it. Meanwhile, I'm going to carry on with my photography as long as I can, mostly macros and indoor shots.
No need to feel sorry about my situation (I do not), or go into an emotional tailspin about this. No one gets to stay here forever; my body is simply following the inevitable course of all created forms in the cycle of life.
Love and blessings to you all. ♥

The star in this is on a bracelet of mine which I hung over a sparkly star motive on a sweater. Size of the star on my bracelet is 0.5 cm. HMM! I also did another version of this yesterday but wasn't sure that it conformed to the size requirements (in Comments)
I'm not sure what the reddish "weeds" are, but the beautiful Queen Anne's lace was snaking through them, along the fence and straight to the light.
Happy Umbellifer Day!
Everywhere the human soul stands between a hemisphere of light and another of darkness; on the confines of the two everlasting empires, necessity and free will.

Thanks for your visit and taking the time to comment so I can visit your photos, too... very much appreciated! Have a great day!🙋♀️
Dry Creek at Fillmore Glen State Park. This creek does dry up in the summer months, (hence it's name) but we have gotten a lot of precipitation recently so it was flowing nicely here. I also liked the contrast of the shadows leading to the light here.
I hope everyone enjoys this image! :D
I haven't done one of these shots in a long time so I didn't notice how tarnished my silver-plated scalloped dessert spoon had become until I downloaded this - but I guess it’s quite apt in the light of the Ukrainian conflict 💙🇺🇦
This is a piece of an old wire colander placed over some rainbow coloured fabric and lit by an LED desk lamp placed at its side HMM!
I woke up this morning to the sound of people scraping ice off their cars, so naturally I couldn't wait to outside to grab a few shots. This is our car windscreen as the overnight frost started to thaw. As you’d imagine I also took numerous shots of the sunrise but chose this for today’s 365
An image given a second life in these travel-restricted times.
It was taken in 2014 near Malcoff, Derbyshire and is a straight repost of the original upload. Eccles Pike can be seen in the distance.
Processed for effect I figured the title spoke for itself. Looks best full-screen.

For the Macro Mondays theme of 'Powder' - some dried chilli powder. HMM! Re the size - I feel that the inclusion of the chilli seed gives a fair indication of the size of the pestle and mortar.
