INDIAN OCEAN (Aug. 27, 2017) The Talwar-class frigate INS Trikand (F51) maneuvers with the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) in preparation for a live-fire gunnery exercise as part of bilateral interoperability drills following the Pearl Harbor’s visit to Goa, India. The bilateral drills between Pearl Harbor and Trikand were aimed to enhance interoperability between the two navies and emphasize the importance of communications and coordination while operating together at sea. Sgt. Tyler J. The Marines are with Scout Sniper Platoon, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment and are currently deployed in part of the Marine Rotational Force Darwin.
