Fun lot of old postcards I've collected in my travels. One rose photo of my own to give it a little pop, and a fun assortment of lace, jewelry, millinery flowers, and a dried rose from my garden. A bit dishevelled I'll admit, but that's what brings it character. Already searching for more February Challenge fodder! :o)

I was going for a cluttered 'English Country House' look here. I'm a bit obsessed with old Country Life magazine archive pictures at the moment, hence the sepia.

My fantasy magazine caption would read "The Drawing Room at Sweetington Hall, photographed for 'Country Life' in 1922. Demolished 1964."

I 'reupholstered' the armchairs with dollshouse wallpaper. It was very tedious and took FOREVER (I really do question my sanity at times!!), whereas the oriental screen took minutes and was a joy.

As always, mostly playmobil (quite a bit painted). The upside-down chess piece came in handy again.
