Another rainy day, not-leaving-the-house kind of day. It's in days like this I remember how hard these 365 projects are. In those days you don't go out, or if you do (like I have to every day to walk Kobe), it's raining and you just don't take the camera out in the rain.
And sometimes figuring out something nice to make a picture of that day isn't easy.
Sometimes when you think about these projects, you feel so motivated, so full of energy that you think you'll be on your best motivation the first three months! Like if the first 90 days are easy like that... because it's just 90 days... in a whole of 365. But they are not.
So far I've been good, but some days I need to really make that extra effort to stop doing what I'm doing and figure out what will be the photo of that day. Particularly in dull days when nothing happens.
flickr interior styling group january challenge.
Not sure if I cheated here but I used the wall and hung a necklace on the frame as well as grouping the items. Used 7 of my fave things from around the home. Regular readers of my blog will no doubt be bored by all of these items as I've used them so frequently - sorry! Would love to hear your thoughts - good and bad! x
PS: blogged about the challenge here thehappyhomeblog.com/?p=1369 including my first version
Happy Wednesday everyone, also marking the end of a season & the beginning of a new one ~
I think I love transitional phases after all ~ they carry so much freshness & always appreciate every season when it arrives....
I just seem to be a little sad for a small period of time when one ends...
Today though the lights are on happy feelings & if you wish {and have the time} to find out why it is a happy day here today, you may read here ~

Fluid Noir explores the beauty of movement within stillness.
Soft, flowing forms contrast against deep, structured surfaces, creating a space that feels both controlled and effortlessly fluid.
Dark tones and high-gloss reflections amplify the atmosphere, allowing light to glide across the room and reshape its perception from every angle.
Each element is designed as a sculptural statement, blending minimalism with bold, expressive curves.
Fluid Noir is not just a space — it’s a visual experience shaped by shadow, reflection, and form.
