An interior overview of St. Katharina in Garching. The oldest parts of the church date to the 13th century, but most of the current structure was built in the 15th century. In the 18th century the interior was converted to the current Baroque style.

Arcos de la Frontera es un municipio español de la provincia de Cádiz, en AndalucÃa. Se trata del municipio más poblado de la comarca de Sierra de Cádiz y también el más extenso. Es un importante lugar para el turismo interior y la industria comarcal, y tiene una posición estratégica entre la Campiña Jerezana y la SerranÃa. Tiene además un rico pasado, al haber sido capital de la Taifa de Arcos en la época musulmana y capital del Ducado de Arcos a partir de 1493.
Puerta de entrada a la Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos, Arcos está considerado uno de los pueblos más bellos de España. Existen huellas de sus primeros pobladores prehistóricos y romanos en el Yacimiento de la Sierra de Aznar, pero a quien debe la ciudad su impronta y actual fisonomÃa es a la cultura musulmana.
A través de estrechÃsimas y empinadas calles y bajo antiguos arcos, el visitante se aproxima a su casco antiguo, declarado Conjunto Histórico, donde se conservan joyas monumentales como el Castillo de los Duques (s. XV), la Puerta de Matrera (ss. XI-XIV) y los restos del recinto amurallado, sus palacios y casas señoriales, la BasÃlica de Santa MarÃa, la Iglesia de San Pedro, además de numerosos templos, capillas y conventos. Estos edificios acogen las valiosas imágenes que en Semana Santa desfilarán por las calles de la población en un fiesta que está declarada de Interés TurÃstico Nacional.
The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Constanţa, located at 25 Arhiepiscopiei Street, Constanţa, Romania, is the seat of the Romanian Orthodox Archbishop of Tomis, as well as a monastery. Situated between Ovid Square and the Black Sea in front of the Archbishop's Palace, it was built on the city's peninsular zone in 1883-85 following plans by architect Ion Mincu. The cornerstone was laid on 4 September 1883, during the reign of Iosif Gheorghian, Metropolitan of All Romania. The church was consecrated on 22 May 1895.
