1999 Volvo FL10 Intercooler 320 tipper operated by Boreham Plant Hire of Cambridge.
Still taxed but has no online MoT history. Has it been converted to a recovery lorry? P J Boreham & Sons of West Wratting don't appear to be trading any more.

Registered in November 2001.

The Portuguese Umm company was founded in 1977 when it started to build the French Cournil Off-road vehicle under license. This basic 4WD French example dates from 1965.
The Alter 4x4 was introduced in 1985. After 1994 only built for military purposes.
The turbo intercooler engine was available from 1987 onwards.
It's a rare 4WD car in Northern Europe. I don't know what will happen with this car. In 2016 I discovered another neglected Umm in this same backyard. It had disappeared in 2021.
