Artificial Intelligence(AI) is going to change the world. The change, however, would not be welcomed by everyone.

Associate Professor of Computer Science and Business Adam Eck and his Winter Term students Frank Kusi Appiah and Maike Anthony dos Santos Silva, both '28, place sensors in Oberlin College's Pollinator Garden.
"The goal is to explore how we can collect data from indoor plants and outdoor gardens (and possibly scaling to small farms) then utilize that data to automate the management of activities like plant watering schedules using artificial intelligence," explains Eck. "[We want to] visualize the data over time to help us understand the health of the plants and the effects of weather and micro-climates. This Winter Term is really just about starting towards that goal and exploring what is feasible in this space."

Utah National Guard’s 300th Military Intelligence Brigade held its 34th annual Military Intelligence Language Conference on Feb. 11, 2023. As part of the conference more than 140 competitors from 25 different organizations participate in the Polyglot Games. The competition is conducted in seven different languages and follow every step of the intelligence cycle, from the operations order to a final commander's brief as they translate battlefield recordings and news reports, exploit documents to identify and destroy enemy equipment, and assess possible enemy courses of action.

The 704th Military Intelligence Brigade hosts a Trunk or Treat on October 27, 2022, on Fort Meade. The trunk or treat was a safe space for soldiers and their families to enjoy some Halloween themed trunks, plenty of candy, music, games, food trucks, and contests.
