Constructed between 1877 and 1886, the Parliament Building features the Second Empire architectural style[2] that was popular for prestigious buildings both in Europe (especially France where the style originated) and the United States during the latter 19th century. Although somewhat more sober in appearance and lacking a towering central belfry, Quebec City's Parliament Building bears a definite likeness to the Philadelphia City Hall, another Second Empire edifice in North America which was built during the same period. Even though the building's symmetrical layout with a frontal clock tower in the middle is typical of legislative institutions of British heritage, the architectural style is believed to be unique among parliament buildings found in other Canadian provincial capitals Its facade presents a pantheon representing significant events and people of the history of Quebec.

Commissioned by Nazi elite, Joachim von Ribbentrop while he was the foreign affairs liaison to the French Govt. just before the war, and the chassis was delivered to Paris, just as he was appointed ambassador to Great Britain. The chassis followed him to London, where he had the British coachmaker, Mayfair Carriage Maker produce the stunning body. This is therefore a genuine one off with interesting, if chilling provenance, since von Ribbentrop became Hitler's Reich Minister for Foreign Affairs in 1938 and was in the highest inner circle to the end of the war. Victory Park, also known as the Victory Park Memorial Complex is a park located in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. It was planned in honor of the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
The project was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in a holiday address on Victory Day in 2019. When describing the park, he said that it will be the "practical embodiment of our admiration for the people's feat in that cruel war." It was also conceived during a visit by Russian president Vladimir Putin to Tashkent in October 2018. The Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Culture and the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan worked on the creation of the park as a joint project. The park was officially opened on 9 May 2020 with full military honors.
Buildings such as a "Museum of Glory" were erected on the park's territory while designs such as an entrance arch were being installed. Historical memorabilia such as emblems, war flags and maps were added to the architectural ensemble of the park.
The Ode to Fortitude monument was erected in memory of Zulfiya Zakirova, an Uzbek mother who lost five sons during the war. The monument is located in the center of the park.
The Museum of Glory (Uzbek: «Шон-шараф» музейи) or Shon-Sharaf State Museum in the park is erected in the form of a man-made mound, inside which is located the main pavilion of the park is an exhibition dedicated to the history of Uzbekistan's participation in World War II. The museum consists of six departments. All accompanying information about the exhibits is presented in Uzbek, Russian and English. The museum has more than 12.5 thousand artifacts. Separate sections dedicated to ministries and departments within the Armed Forces are organized. It is part of the Victory Park Memorial Complex, the head of which is an advisor to the Minister of Defense for Culture.
In September 2020, a resolution of the President "On measures to organize the activities of the Victory Park Memorial Complex" was adopted, according to which, the activities of the Victory Park Memorial Complex are organized under the Ministry of Defense. With this being the case, the complex is classified as a state institution and a legal entity. As such, it has its own development fund. The head of the complex considered to be a special advisor to the Minister of Defense is appointed and dismissed by the Minister of Defense in agreement with the Minister of Culture.
The Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, the Department of Information and Mass Communications, the Military Band Service and the Central Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces are located on the territory of the Complex.

The Grand Refectory, with beautiful gothic rib vault ceiling is one of the most important interiors of the Castle, which was the largest reception hall in the Malbork stronghold during the medieval times. It was here that the Grand Masters hosted their numerous guests from all over Europe; it also hosted the chapters. The room was built around the year 1330, is supported by three pillars and has dimensions of 30 metres long, 15 metres wide and 9 metres high. It is part of the west wing of the medium Castle.
The Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork, the largest Gothic castle complex in the world, is a 13th-century Teutonic castle and fortress located near the town of Malbork on the river Nogat in Poland. It was originally constructed by the Teutonic Knights, a German Catholic religious order of crusaders, in a form of an Ordensburg fortress. The Order named it Marienburg in honour of Mary, mother of Jesus. In 1457, during the Thirteen Years’ War, it was sold by the Bohemian mercenaries to King Casimir IV of Poland in lieu of indemnities and it since served as one of the several Polish royal residences and the seat of Polish offices and institutions, interrupted by several years of Swedish occupation, and fulfilling this function until the First Partition of Poland in 1772. From then on the castle was under German rule for over 170 years until 1945. The castle is a classic example of a medieval fortress and, on its completion in 1406, was the world's largest brick castle. UNESCO designated the "Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork" and the Malbork Castle Museum a World Heritage Site in December 1997.

Wielki Refektarz – zbudowany około 1320–1330 roku, sala biesiadna ze sklepieniem palmowym wspartym na 3 granitowych filarach jest największym świeckim pomieszczeniem w państwie zakonnym (30,3 m długości, 15,3 m szerokości i 9 m wysokości). Był on miejscem głównych wydarzeń wewnątrzzakonnych, takich jak np. kapituły generalne oraz salą posiłków codziennych wielkiego mistrza i jego dworu wraz z zaproszonymi gośćmi. Znajduje się w zachodniej części Zamku Średniego.

The Dominion Observatory was an astronomical observatory in Ottawa, Ontario that operated from 1902 to 1970. The Observatory was also an institution within the Canadian Federal Government. The observatory grew out of the Department of the Interior's need for the precise coordinates and timekeeping that at that time could only come from an observatory. For several years they had used a small observatory on the Ottawa River for this purpose. In 1902, it was decided that Canada needed a larger national observatory similar to the Royal Greenwich Observatory in Britain.

St. Patrick's Blue is officially the colour which appears on the Irish Presidential Standard (i.e. the flag of the President of Ireland) and the Coat of arms of Ireland. It also appears in the part of the Royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom representing Northern Ireland.
This blue and gold colour scheme is said to represent "the Ancient Colours of Ireland" [4] and are the colours also found on the coat of arms of "the Ancient City of Dublin" and the Flag of Munster (which evolved from the coat of arms of the Lordship of Ireland). The Flag of Connacht prominently features blue as well.
As the colours of University College Dublin, the blue and yellow scheme is officially called "St Patrick's Blue and Saffron" and is featured prominently on the institution's coat of arms. They are the original colours of the Catholic University of Ireland and date back to the inception of the College in the 1840s. The colours are used by various sports teams at the university such as such the University College Dublin Rowing Club[5]. For the fencing club at University College Dublin, the blue chosen as their St. Patrick's Blue is "Pantone 295", the same shade of blue as that is used on the pennant of the President of Ireland.[6]

A group of Sea Scouts associated with St. Patrick's Church in Dalkey near Dublin Port describes their troop neckerchief as "red with a St. Patrick's Blue border."[7]
The Irish Guards, an Irish regiment of the British Army, wear a plume of St. Patrick's Blue in their bearskins. The guards also wear a cap ornament depicting the eight-pointed star of the Most Illustrious Order of St Patrick.[8] Although the last surviving knight died in 1974, the order technically still exists. Massey College (officially The Principal and Fellows of Massey College) is a postgraduate residential college formally affiliated with the University of Toronto, located on the St. George campus in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The independent institution was established, built and partially endowed in 1962 by the Massey Foundation and officially opened in 1963, though women were not admitted until 1974. It was modelled around the traditional Cambridge and Oxford collegiate system and features a central court and porters lodge.
Located on the St. George campus of the University of Toronto, Ron Thom's design for Massey College was inspired by the medieval Oxbridge style college with influence from Frank Lloyd Wright and the Arts and Crafts movement.[9] As in Oxford and Cambridge, the buildings of Massey College all centre around one court which is accessible through only two gates. The main gate is at the foot of the tower, along with the porter's lodge. The quad contains a large pond with fish and fountains as well as the St. Catherine's Bell in the clock tower attached to the porch. The bells are rung three times a day during the school term to mark meal times. Around the quad are a total of five residence houses on the east, north, and west sides. The ground floors of these houses contain some administration offices. The largest building, containing the majority of the public space available to members of the fellowship, is on the south side along with the principal's house. Public space at Massey College includes the large dining hall, a small private dining room, a college common room and bar, an upper library, the lower library, the "puffy couch room" (an informal common room with television and games), the Colin Friesen seminar room, a computer room, and non-resident study carrels.

Palace of Culture and Science (Polish: Pałac Kultury i Nauki; abbreviated PKiN), is a notable high-rise building in central Warsaw, Poland. With a total height of 237 metres (778 ft) it is the tallest building in Poland, the 5th-tallest building in the European Union (including spire) and one of the tallest on the European continent. Constructed in 1955, it houses various public and cultural institutions such as cinemas, theatres, libraries, sports clubs, university faculties and authorities of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Since 2007 it has been enlisted in the Registry of Objects of Cultural Heritage.
Motivated by Polish historical architecture and American art deco high-rise buildings, the PKiN was designed by Soviet architect Lev Rudnev in "Seven Sisters" style and is informally referred to as the Eighth Sister. The Palace was also the tallest clock tower in the world until the installation of a clock mechanism on the NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building in Tokyo, Japan.
The building was originally known as the Joseph Stalin's Palace of Culture and Science (Pałac Kultury i Nauki imienia Józefa Stalina), but in the wake of destalinization the dedication to Stalin was revoked. Stalin's name was removed from the colonnade, interior lobby and one of the building's sculptures.
