The great thing about wildlife photography is that when your out tracking wildlife you sometimes come across beautiful scenery that just cries out to be a landscape image.
That's what happened recently when I was out tracking Kites and Osprey at Goegrup Reserve in Western Australia.
I came across this pathway leading down to the lakes edge with the morning sun kissing the water surface drenching the bench and the lake bank in golden hues, the sun's rays peeking through the branches lighting the path, I was totally blown away and just had to get this stunning image.
I didn't have my tripod with me and was set up with the 100-400mm (Not the best lens for landscapes) the light was low so I had to reduce shutter speed to 1/40th and then on top of that to try and stop the sun rays from blowing out I set the EV to -0.33 all this hand held so the image isn't as sharp as I would like but still beautiful.
