Le lac de Saint-Cassien est un lac de barrage français situé en Provence, dans le sud-est du département du Var, dans la communauté de communes du Pays de Fayence, nommé d'après Saint Cassien.
D’une forme particulière, le lac de Saint-Cassien s’étend sur 3 communes du Pays de Fayence (Tanneron, Montauroux, Callian) et Les Adrets de l’Estérel. Véritable source de fraîcheur estivale, c'est le site le plus fréquenté du Pays de Fayence. Sur ce plan d’eau de 420 hectares, de nombreuses activités de loisirs s’offrent à vous : Jeux nautiques, pédalos, jeux gonflables, pêche, aviron, randonnée, restauration…
Initialement destiné à la production d’énergie hydro- électrique, le lac est devenu un espace de loisirs convoité mais qui demeure fragile. Il appartient à chacun de respecter le site, en particulier sa faune et sa flore. On trouve sur la partie Est du lac, le biotope de Fondurane gérée par le CEN Paca, le conservatoire d'espaces naturels de Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur.

Initially intended for the production of hydroelectric energy, the lake has become a coveted recreational area but which remains fragile.

The overcast sky lit up in gorgeous blue tones well before sunrise at Redcliffe Jetty. Taken as part of the Queensland Instameet world record attempt.
I went to the daytongram instameet at The Dayton Art Institute this morning. It was a good time. I really wanted to get a photo of people studying a painting. I lucked out towards the end. There was an Older Lady who appeared to be with her son studying a painting of flowers in the one of the exhibits. I don't think they ever noticed me.

We had an IgersbirminghamUK photographic Instameet at the Museum. It was a great day out and not only were there buses to photograph but there was a classic car meeting taking place as well.
