The best thing about Flickr is the opportunity to learn and evolve. Without the community that Flickr is, I believe I would not have developed in the way I have. There are so many photographers on here who inspire me, whose work I love and whose support I appreciate. Starting today, I am going to showcase the work of some of my Flickr friends on my blog.

My beautiful little Sumi-Anna is 7 today. This is one of my all time favourite photographs of her taken when she was just two.
She is engrossed with Voltaire's Candide.

G'day g'day there flickrites. Something a little different from me and my last post for a little while.
This shot is a tribute/homage to my good online friend Brendan O Se. I rarely do a shout out, but Brendan is a regular inspiration and a wonderful photographer. I even used Snapseed to edit it matey!
Lately Brendan has been going great guns in getting recognition beyond the social media sphere. A big congrats to you Brendan, it is all so very well deserved. You should all check out his two flickr feeds (iphone and dslr) and perhaps his website. You won't be disappointed.
