Getting that all important Insta shot ... even if it could cost you your life. I could barely look at them doing this, let alone think about actually doing it myself ... never mind that its fenced off with no entry signs ...
Captivated by Colour is an art installation by Camile Walala, it’s part of the Canary Wharf art trail which includes several works of art all over the area. It’s become a very popular spot for those killer insta shots by models and photographers.
I think it looks quite cool and certainly brightens up the tunnel.
Yehliu Geopark is a small peninsula flooded with visitors aiming for Insta shots with one of the peculiar rock formations.Particularly the rock formation "Queen's Head" is a must for most visitors with a long line forming in front of it.
But there are enough rocks to get less crowded shots. The young woman on the photo excused herself that she walked into my shot. Little did she know that I was waiting for her to do so.

Had a quick visit to the Peak District yesterday for a catch up with a friend I did my apprenticeship with.
Wasn't really a day for photography. Morning was nice but it was spent driving to different places. He wanted to see as many as he could on a day without his 10yr old and 5yr old and I lost count how many times he said 'I couldn't do this if I had the kids.'
Not met up with him for over a year so we slipped back in to being 16 year old apprentices and 30 year old running jokes made an appearance regularly.
Winnats for the Insta shot, then Ladybower, Higger Tor and Curbar Edge before some food in the Eyre Arms in Calver. Great day out and had him home in time to pick the kids up.

I used a HOYA Pro ND1000 filter for smoothening the water.
Morskie Oko (literally "Sea Eye" or "Eye of the Sea") is the largest and fourth-deepest lake in the Tatra Mountains. It is located deep within the Tatra National Park, Poland, in the Rybi Potok (the Fish Brook) Valley, of the High Tatras mountain range at the base of the Mięguszowiecki Summits, in Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
Some people will go to great lengths not to be a part of the shot!
Some of the folks visiting the Mission San José de Tumacácori. As I said in a previous shot we decided to skip the docent led tour and wander on our own and this is exactly why!
He was intent on getting the perfect Insta shot and she obliged for a couple of them but finally hit her limit and turned away. Hopefully it didn't sour the rest of their looking around!
Definitely not from around here, you can tell because he's wearing a coat. Weather was fantastic today, 65 degrees and sunny with a slight breeze, no need for anything other than a light sweater at most.
She would not move an inch from her spot - neither provide me her insta details so I post it here instead.

Today (July 3, 2022) I was one of 3500 visitors to the presentation of the new ICNG (InterCity New Generation) trains at Rotterdam Centraal. Two emus were on display, 3121 and 3222. You could walk through the train and get pictures everywhere, even in the cabs. In the train station you could play engineer on a simulator - that also was put here to attract new employees.
Of course I got many other pix at the Rotterdam Centraal station.
You could get an insta shot at the ICNG in this photo stand. Free advertising for NSR!

We had a date night and went to a great restaurant called Ecco. We hadn't been there for about 20 years - so naturally we had to Instagram the occasion. This is my wife snapping her Insta shot.
