A lone Verbena bonariensis stem rises vertically against a beautifully soft, diffused background. Atop the cluster of vibrant purple blossoms, a solitary bee is captured in sharp focus, diligently foraging for nectar. The striking contrast between the detailed textures of the insect and the smooth, painterly depth of the background highlights a quiet, natural moment of summer pollination.
