Cette araignƩe prends les couleurs de son environnement

Deze prachtige vuurjuffer vond ik in de achtertuin zittend op een blad van de Oosterse karmozijn bes. Drie huizen verder hebben ze een mooie vijver met diverse libellen en juffers. Ik denk dat deze daar vandaan kwam. De houding op deze foto vind ik erg mooi. Even groot bekijken - door op de 'L' toets te drukken.

 

I found this beautiful damselfly in the backyard sitting on a leaf of the Oriental crimson berry. Three houses further they have a beautiful pond with various dragonflies and damselflies. I think this one came from there. I really like the pose in this photo. Viewing the same size - by pressing the 'L' key.

... found this little fellow underneith my heating, totally dehydrated so it seems ... when I put him outside he didn't stop drinking for quite some time ...

Crimson Rose (Pachliopta hector) - is a large swallowtail butterfly belonging to the genus Pachliopta (roses) of the red-bodied swallowtails.
