My roommate has wanted to get a tattoo for the longest time, and after years of waiting, finally went through with it this semester.
Love the depth that the impression made on the mm.
I just took my first letterpress class from Snap and Tumble. It was a blast, I think I am hooked! The process of picking the type, choosing my paper, applying the ink, setting machine, actually letterpressing, I loved it all. Watch out Stoph, I may have a new obsession:)
Coprinopsis atramentaria, commonly known as the common INK CAP or inky cap, is a wide spead and edible (but sometimes poisonous) mushroom found in Europe and North America.
Clumps of mushrooms arise after rain from spring to autumn, commonly in urban and disturbed habitats such as vacant lots and lawns, as well as grassy areas. The grey-brown cap is initially bell-shaped before opening, after which, it flattens and disintegrates.
The flesh is thin and the taste mild. It can be eaten but is poisonous when consumed with alcohol – hence another common name, TIPPLER'S BANE!
The first part of my new back piece, outlined and shaded by the amazing Amanda at Sacred Rose Tattoo. That's a Desert Cottontail bunny, with California poppies. Once it heals we'll add the color, and then start working on the next elements.
