Inks dropped in water- taken with Canon 600D. Possibly to be used as the background in The Stagg Do animation sequence or another version using other colours.
Fried calamari rings in which the batter has squid ink in it. One of the interesting non-traditional tapas at TapaÇ24. Looks different than your basic fried calamari, but the taste is similar and done to perfection here.

We were trawling through the lower depths of the Bergen Aquarium when suddenly the overwhelming stench of rancid URINE flooded our nostrils.
It was pretty disgusting, but still we trudged on ... and this is what we found! A cage of marmosets -- 4 or 5 of them.
Apparently some family had been illegally keeping them in Norway (in bad conditions?), and so the authorities took them -- Bergen Aquarium then agreed to display them... next to the sharks and crocodiles...
I have a video of these, but it isn't great -- for some reason the entire enclosure was flooded with pink and green light. Garish!
A great way of looking at art history is to introduce students to the term appropriation. I gave my students a lesson on appropriate and showed them a few fun examples, then I provided them with a stack of well known masterpieces printed in colour for them to pick from. The assignment is to take a piece and repaint or draw it in a way that makes it there own. This was my example for them, a modern take on Alphonse Mucha's "The Dance" done with a cute tattooed pinup girl. Watercolour painting lined in black ink.

Notes: Continuing my series of Linocuts based on the book by Liza Dalby, about the Chinese / Japanese division of seasons into 72 rather than 4 parts. It's called East Wind Melts the Ice.
