Pencil, ink and lots of Photoshop
I haven't been able to snap a lot of photos lately, but I have been drawing a lot. This girly is my new mascot for www.peppermintkisskiss.com. I'm finally getting the site finished up so I'll have more there besides a blog soon.
New session on Ink 'N' Water, I use a green ink drooped form a needle in a bowl of water, then I use the Photoshop to color it.

These two bottles of writing ink arrived in the mail from a small batch maker in Pittsburgh, PA. I admit it: Instagram has been hitting me with their ads for at least a year, and since I'm currently actively playing with fluid media, I finally bought some. My first simple swatches did not disappoint! You can't tell in this image, but at the top of the blue-green swatch, the thin hard line formed by the ink is actually an amazing shade of RED! And the "Antique Sepia" splits into a rosy mauve and green/teal that is also wicked cool. As of now the maker does not have lightfastness data available for their full inventory, but apparently that is in progress. That important piece withstanding, I'm delighted by how the ink behaves on watercolor paper, dripped into wet. More experiments to follow, including on Yupo paper. Don't you just love getting new art supplies?!

Teníamos que dibujar un manual simple y se me ocurrió que los buzones están en vías de extinción y quizás a futuras generaciones les sorprendería saber cómo se usan. Este está cerca de mi casa y es donde mi hija ponía su carta para los Reyes Magos. Hay una buganvilla espectacular en la esquina.
Koosje's assignment for SBS "Storytelling" course. We had to draw a simple manual and I thought postboxes are in danger of extinction and maybe future generations would be surprised to know how they are used. This one is near my home and it's where my daughter put her letters for the Three Wise Kings. There's a spectacular bouganvillae in the corner.

Letztens hatte ich die Lisa vor der Cam, wir machten einige Bilder für einen Tattoo Magazin Contest. Hier eine kleine Auswahl vom Shoot.
Ich möchte mehr Menschen mit Tattoo's shooten, man kann somit wunderbar zwei Kunstformen zusammenbringen :).
Außerdem kamen auch noch ein paar Bilder für die Monoton Serie mit raus, die gibts dann aber erst im laufe der Woche.
