For this picture I used an old, more or less acquired lens. It is a „Auto Beriflex 135 mm 1:2.8“ with M42 connector. "Beriflex" was a brand name of the Berlin company Beroflex AG. A system camera can be connected with a suitable adapter.
Für dieses Bild habe ich ein altes, eher zufällig erworbenes Objektiv benutzt. Es ist ein „Auto Beriflex 135 mm f/2.8“ mit M42-Anschluss. „Beriflex“ war eine Markenbezeichnung der Berliner Firma Beroflex AG. An eine Systemkamera lassen sich alte Objektive hervorragend mit einem passenden Adapter verwenden.

This interesting mushroom is growing on my lawn. At start the caps are white, and covered with scales. The gills beneath the cap are white, then pink, then turn black and secrete a black liquid filled with spores - hence the "ink cap" name.

Does anybody have any Blotting Paper for there is a Ink Blot on the Landscape...
Just took this little macro picture yesterday in my back garden. I thought it looked interesting the way it leaned over like this and the way the ink seems to be running from it and staining the grass. I never noticed this before with these mushrooms (probably never looked before...lol)
I composed this image after hiking 11 km through Johnston Canyon in Banff National Park to my final destination, The Ink Pots.
The Ink Pots are intense blue and green pools of water in a spectacular alpine basin. Their name harks back to an earlier age, having reminded the namer of a well of pen ink.
These small pools are cold water springs that are painted vibrant shades by various minerals in the water. Interestingly, the pools maintain a constant temperature of 4 degrees Celsius year round.
