The Allianz Arena is a football stadium located in Fröttmaning in the north of Munich. Max. seating is 75,000. Due to it's shape it earned the nicknames "Schlauchboot" (inflatable boat) and "Autoreifen" (tyre).

Seen in Hulls Queens Gardens during the "Awakening " Event . It features Light and Sound Installations of Animals etc . All to celebrate Folklore and Mythology .
While exploring along the banks of the Grand River, I met this guy who was preparing to head down the river to Paris. It's an inflatable stand up paddle board but his included a seat that he attached so he could take a break from standing or kneeling and paddle it like a kayak, some fins to help keep the board heading in the right direction, a camera mount at the front and an audio connection so he could listen to some of his favourite music while heading downstream. He was very friendly and was planning on getting into Paris in about 3 and a half hours depending on how high the water level was all the way down.

Into the Blue, 2008

Sculpture
Fujiwara Takahiro’s "Into the Blue" is a giant, illuminated, transparent cone-shaped balloon. Its shape is achieved through the stacking of inflatable donut-shaped soft acrylic tubes of successively diminishing sizes. Floating in the middle of the Eaton Centre, "Into the Blue" will present two distinct faces. From a distance, it will reflect and refract the surrounding light. Up close, one will be able to walk beneath the work and experience it as an environment. Looking up into the interior will present a dazzling light array, refracted through the complex layers of soft acrylic material.
With her extravagant aesthetic, the multidisciplinary artist Sasha Frolova not only created flashy inflatable latex costumes for the Grand Show, "FALLING IN LOVE" and its curator JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER, but also created breathtaking wow moments with fantastic scenographic design elements for the stage. She creates inflatable costumes and sculptures out of latex and other materials.
In 2009 she was a finalist at the Kandisky Prize in the "Young Artist. Project of the Year" category.
In 2013 she was a finalist at the ARTE LAGUNA 12.13 Prize and won a special prize in the "Personal Exhibition" category.
A year later she received the prize as "Alternative Miss World 2014".

Best Shot 2004. This was supposed to be the first of a series called "mail the whale" where my friends and i would get candid photos of an inflatable pool whale at our college campuses. I actually really like the way this one turned out. The next friend in charge lost the whale, so a very short lived project.
Inflatable Refugee, created by Belgian artists Schellekens & Peleman. The six-metre-tall figure in a boat has gone on display on the Yarra river bank to highlight the global refugee crisis and the harrowing journey millions of refugees make every year.
The artists say the artwork is constructed out of the same material human traffickers use for the boats that carry refugees across the Mediterranean Sea.
I met a neighbor on my walk as he was putting the finishing touches on his display. He told me there may be a Santa & sleigh added, on the roof--but it is harder to secure. Before I left, the giant football helmet--behind Snoopy in a canoe--was inflated. This is, after all, a university town where football is a big thing. Happy multiple holidays!

Melting onto Muck, with Rum and Eigg witnesses, rose gold shimmering all around, the sun blazed its finale to a day that started grey. Sea water, an inflatable kayak and a camera are potentially very unhappy seabed fellows but when sunset promises a spectacular ending, risks have to be taken. No ND Grad, wide open with a fast shutter would have Joe Cornish tutting but lying back to minimise the roll from the swell left little option.
[Someone commented that initially they thought the picture might be AI. Twiddling the sliders can be all too tempting to add that bit “more” ( saturation, vibrance, drama etc etc) and most photographers have indulged that temptation from time to time, myself included. Black and white has no rules, for me, because the world is colour so anything monochrome can be anything you choose for creative confection. With colour, being honest and as accurate as memory allows about the scene seen seems more necessary, or, at least, require disclosure when things are turned up to 11 for effect. This picture is as accurate as my memory, basic software and technical skills allow. The strong blazing sun has probably been toned down to stop white out but the enveloping effect of rose gold glow reflects the feeling in the moment.]

this family goes all out :) this represents about half of them. i think my favorite might be the hand because the fingers wave at you :)
