Nature's infinity pool at L'Escalier Tete Chien, Sineku in the Kalinago Territory.
L'Escalier Tete Chien is literally translated (in Dominican patois) as "the staircase of the snake." This famous landmark in the Kalinago Territory is a natural volcanic staircase coming out of the ocean. As Kalinago legend has it, this formation is believed to be the path left from an enormous boa constrictor.
I've spent a lot of time at L'Escalier Tete Chien during my time in Dominica, taking pictures and watching the sun rise. The power of the sea can really be seen and felt here. But I can actually say that I never thought of swimming in the natural pools that are found on the rock formations there. But today, the boys and I took the opportunity to enjoy another refreshing dip and at the same time witness the power of the waves pounding the rocks.
Pool area after Sunset at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel world known infinity bassin. So far a once in a lifetime experience, i was up there a 2nd time but only on the Public access Viewdeck without a swimming facility.
This pool (and the Hotel of course) is masterclass and on this day a dream become reality.
Luljettas Hanging Garden and Spa is the first and only hanging gardens and spa in the Philippines. It got this amazing viewpoint of Laguna De Bay and Metro Manila Skyline that is accessible while dining or swimming in any of the three infinity pools.
