The highest viewing point of Maya Ubud is perhaps at the elevator through the gorge, that brings the guests down to the valley where the River cafe & the other infinity pool ( as seen in the photo) along with Riverside Spa Pavillions are, alongside Petanu River.

One of the few moments where nobody was in the pool. I think everyone was on a liquor run.

We passed this hotel several times between our own (Mnarani Cottages) and where we were diving (Zanzibar Watersports at Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel). This hotel has a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the water, and a pier-restaurant which many consider ugly. They certainly went for impressive, and the room rates started at $500USD. Not for us!
