The three people walking beside the reflecting pool at the Christian Science Center look like they should be getting wet, but they're not. The pool is an "infinity pool" so it seems to have no "edge." By the way, it's 686 feet (209m) long and 98 feet (30m) wide.

A glass-topped table sits directly inside a shallow infinity pool at this resort in Baan Nai Wok, ตำบลเกาะพะงัน. Black wicker chairs are arranged around the table, allowing guests to dine while their feet rest in the water. Red-draped cabanas line the edges of the pool, providing shaded seating areas for visitors. Tall palm trees frame the view of the ocean in the distance, creating a tropical atmosphere. The calm water reflects the surrounding greenery and the clear sky above.

12 days away from home - gone to the Big Island of Hawaii. Even from California it's a 6 hour flight across three time zones. Temperatures about the same as in Santa Barbara - humidity level a LOT higher. Even though we have lots of palm trees around Santa Barbara - none are coconut palms - and there's just something about them that makes them highly photogenic - in addition to having a soothing effect.
The building right in front, situated in the port of Funchal, is now a five star restaurant.
With amazing views of the city of Funchal and to the Atlantic, this place is like a magic island that just come out of the sea to give you the opportunity to seat and relax while having your meal.
With large glass windows, and lovely balconies, you can feel the fresh sea smell as you will be surrounded by the Attlantico and on the other side the lights of the city.
This is the best place on hearth for a romantic meal, with great decor, romantic felling and most of all, the food was absolutely amazing, considering I have dinned in some great restaurants in London, Paris and other places.
O Molhe has 2 dinning areas and I had dinner on the top restaurant, where there's a degustation menu and wine can be suggested and staff is polite and very interested to hear you.
Well renovated, mixed with brick walls and large glass windows, build into a small fort and very tastefully decorated, I finished my evening in the downstairs bar where locals even felt as relaxed as me and some fell asleep in the cozy bar seats, no worries at all, its like a meditation center.
The outside decking can also provide you with comfy furniture where you can enjoy the sea and the moon while having your last drink and take another opportunity to feel the breeze of the beautiful Atlantic.
No words to describe this experience, it's a must try place, you will have a great experience.
