The surface buildings of the world's largest salt mine glow against the sunset sky in Goderich Ontario.
It is unbelievable, how careless the industry can be. They can easily destroy the most beautiful and pristine piece of coast for their explorations, and once the profits are gone, they just leave everything behind. This is an old coal mine terminal, that is left there.
When I'm out with the camera
I might meet someone who will tell me
there is nothing worth photographing in this direction.
Then it's exactly the right direction for me.
I took a secound attempt for his motive and I am actually more happy with this one. The previous one was shot during the blue hour but this was the shot which I had in mind. @ former Coal Mine "Zollverein" in Essen, Germany.
I am more of a bird/nature photographer than an artist. I kind of liked how this turned out. The background is actually a mile or so away and separated by Highway 2
