The Episcopal Chamber (Chamber of Facets) is a 15th-century monument located in Novgorod Kremlin, Veliky Novgorod, Russia. It is an exceptional example of Gothic architecture in Russia, and included in the UNESCO World heritage list, along with other historic buildings in the city.

Not everywhere Shanghai is modern, bright and shiny...
This is a 180° panorama of Kongjia Nong (Kongjia Alley, 孔家弄), one of the many narrow alleys that make up the core of the old Shanghai.
This area around Laoximen (老西门) has it's own charm, though I recommend to visit it only if you are good at orientation without any maps, because many of these tiny alleys are not even on the Chinese maps - and it's a maze.
Unfortunately much of this will fall victim to urban redevelopment in the very near future.
