This photo was the best I could do with the typical Empty Bottle lighting conditions, which make me feel like I am in a deep dark tunnel and will probably end up dead while I enjoy great music. Anyway, I oddly re-met a human who I had met in concerts past who referenced a Sonic Youth show from 2009, which made me realize...wow I have really shot a ton of shows throughout all this time!
Anyway, in a few hours, I am getting on a plane to Iceland so excuse the double posts but I think this is is for me for the next week. We'll see. This band is great and wonderful energy live. Highly recommend!!!

You can climb to the summit on your own and bathe in the glory, or struggle in the shadows at the bottom with the masses but I've always thought the more rewarding is to stop half way up, under a shady tree on a warm, sunny hillside with a great friend. And stay a while to drink: drink in the peace, the beauty of this world, this life and this moment. For the beauty is in the sharing and being together: not alone, nor as a crowd. Holy Moley me oh my, I know where my comfort zone is, and this spot on this hill will do just fine!

I Foals, indie band inglese, arriva in Italia per un unico imperdibile show! A distanza di due anni, infatti, potremo finalmente vederli live al Fabrique di Milano il 28 gennaio 2016.
Questo sembra proprio essere l’anno dei Foals, non solo ricevono ottime recensioni per il loro quarto album, What Went Down, ma riescono ancora a stupire con una fantastica performance a sorpresa durante Reading 2015.
Del nuovo album spicca il fatto che siano, ancora una volta, riusciti a distinguersi spiccatamente nel contesto musicale dell’indie-rock. I loro show, poi, sono annoverati tra i più rock e adrenalinici del genere.
Dal 2008 ad oggi Yannis Philippakis e compagni dimostrano di saper continuare a trovare il loro sound e di non perdere la loro capacità innata nel far divertire il pubblico.

Florence + The Machine, finalmente, in Italia per un attesissimo concerto invernale. La rock diva e la sua band, suoneranno infatti davanti al pubblico del Mediolanum Forum di Milano il 21 dicembre 2015 con il loro How Blue Tour .
Dopo la consacrazione definitiva del grandissimo live del 20 novembre 2012, la rossa più potente dell'indie-rock è pronta a regalarci un altro show epico.
Per Florence Welch il successo dei primi due dischi Lungs (2009 – Album of the year, Brit Awards 2010) e Ceremonials (2011) ha significato 5 anni di registrazione, promozione e tour. Cerimonials (disco candidato ai Grammy) è stato scritto mentre Florence e i musicisti erano on the road e registrato subito dopo la fine del tour. Gli Show diventavano sempre più grandi, i capelli sempre più rossi e il successo sempre più grande.
Pop star a 21 anni, con 2 album internazionali alle sue spalle, Florence ha scoperto che dedicando 7 anni della sua vita alla musica alcuni elementi della quotidianità erano stati lasciati da parte.
