Ce fut à Nice (F) et mes pensées sont avec tous ceux qui souffrent, de près ou de loin, des conséquences de cette nouvelle tragédie.
Plus les médias parleront des attentats, en boucle, durant des jours, des semaines, des mois, plus il feront le lit des terroristes qui ne cherchent qu'à faire parler d'eux pour recruter de nouveaux djihadistes fanatisés et magnétisés à l'idée de massacrer des "mécréants" avant de mourir en martyrs auréolés de gloire. Et plus la planète s'embrasera.....pour le plus grand malheur de tous !
Happy Independance Day America. We love you England, now..;) This is a memorial from Corpus Christi, Texas. On the 4th we eat a lot of BBQ, do festivals and just hangout.
Bay City, Michigan...the best fireworks anywhere; just ask the locals, they'll tell you that. I have been photographing these fireworks for many years and I never get bored with the process. The city is populated with around 29,000 people but the Big Show draws 200,000+ visitors every year.

This ones an interesting one. Soap bubbles in the sink with back light and flash. A little saturation to just make the colors a little more visible.
Looks like the right side of an eagles face to me... How about you?

As with the lightning, this is my first ever fireworks. I think it turned out really cool. I took several different fireworks shots, and combined them in Photoshop, to create one cool shot over the Las Vegas Strip, in Nevada. Combine that with the street traffic, very cool.
Independance Day is one of the few worthwhile "holidays" I think we celebrate as Americans. It at least beats "donut day" ~ ha!

Scary on large... View On Black
We all remember a few dominant rainstorms, this one I will never forget. While in Ottawa, at the Delta Hotel on August 18/08 the clouds slowly rolled in almost touching the building tops. The sky literally went black save the sunlight spilling in from afar, the entire scene reminded me of the that huge space ship moving over the city in the movie Independence Day. If you have seen that movie you know exactly what I mean.
Anyway the rain came down in sheets and within minutes the clouds were gone.......yesterdays image with the fisheye was taken minutes after the rain quit.
