Dati Tecnici

.

a) Leica M8 + Leica Summilux M 75 mm f.1,4 convertito a 6 bit + Filtro E60 Leica UV/IR;

b) Tempo 1/30s con apertura diaframma a f.2,8 +2/3 di stop in manuale (a mano libera);

c) Lettura Esposimetrica di base con Gossen Lunalite (Effettuate Quattro letture a Luce Incidente, due sui lati estremi opposti della bimba, una fra il mento e le mani della bambola e la sua mano, l’ultima sulla guancia della bambola. Le letture sono state effettuate con la cupola dell’esposimetro rivolto perpendicolarmente all’asse ottico di ripresa). La lettura media ottenuta è stata confrontata con la lettura effettuata con l’esposimetro della M8 (la luminanza generale è stata posta sulla zona IV e 1/2 del Grigio Medio al 18%. L’accoppiata tempo/diaframma è stata sovraesposto di n+2/3 per evitare che l’esposizione finale impostata non penalizzasse le alte luci (visto che la luce che penetrava dalla finestra era abbastanza corposa “temperatura cromatica 5800°k”) o le basse luci (le luci interne erano troppo basse stimate in 2200°K/2700°K) nel calcolo della tecnica dell’Esposizione a Destra. Questa tecnica rappresenta un importante metodo di lavoro nella fotografia digitale, che permette al fotografo di ottenere foto meno rumorose e qualitativamente migliori;

f) Seconda Post-Produzione con Adobe Photoshop CS6 64/Bit per il bilanciamento delle zone d’ombra ;

g) Post-Produzione di completamento con Nikon Capture NX 2 e CorelPhoto-Paint X7 64/Bit.

The Chairman's Waltz - John Williams

.

…occhi verdi

.

s'infrangono

sull'inerme scogliera

i tuoi sguardi profondi

fino a scuoterti l'anima.

… sanno esser

dolci e ardenti e…

risplendono di luce propria

ma a volte anche

perfidi e pungenti.

Questi sono i tuoi

…occhi verdi.

Come il mare in tempesta

sanno essere inquieti,

sfuggenti verso i cieli

spietati con gli uomini

ma…in fondo ad essi

ho scoperto un infinito

groviglio di colori

che ti tolgono il fiato

provocano infinita dolcezza

…un vortice di emozioni che

ti trasportano lontano

nelle infinite galassie

su pianeti sconosciuti.

Che mai…

si potrebbe dire,

se l’amore vero è questo

io adesso l’ho trovato.

.

…green eyes

.

they break

on the defenseless cliff

your deep gazes

until your soul is shaken.

... they know how to be

sweet and ardent and ...

they shine with their own light

but sometimes also

treacherous and stinging.

These are yours

…green eyes.

Like the stormy sea

they know how to be restless,

elusive towards the skies

ruthless with men

but ... at the bottom of them

I discovered an infinity

tangle of colors

that take your breath away

they cause infinite sweetness

…a whirlwind of emotions that

they carry you away

in the infinite galaxies

on unknown planets.

That never…

you could say,

if this is true love

I have now found it.

The little Red-tailed Hawk chick, though begging, missed out on this food delivery. The three eaglets can now feast on what is brought to the nest without being 'beak-fed'. The other parent was still out however, so I am hopeful it brought something

and fed the hawk before the day was done. (Roberts Bay, BC).

CMXD554: Patient was successfully rescued from the damaged ship. Body was badly damaged, Race of unknown origin. Attempts to reconstruct have been successful due to DNA configuration and cloning. Tank purge is preparing, there will be many questions I'm sure. Patient remains unconscious while final steps are being taken to ensure complete reconstruction.

I recently finished reading a very interesting collection of short stories entitled Save Me Stranger, by Erika Krouse. The stories are pretty wild and go in all different directions with quite a large variety of main characters and settings. Many really made me think more deeply about life situations and reality.

In any case, the collection starts out with the following quote from Anaïs Nin:

"Stories are the only enchantment possible, for when we begin to see our suffering as a story, we are saved."

I've been thinking about that quite a bit and I immediately start thinking about how when you are going through a traumatic incident, it is sometimes helpful to picture yourself removed from your body, as if seeing it all from an existential distance.

How will we understand and tell our own stories with this huge change in history...this turmoil, these atrocities currently happening in our names. And, of course, the "winners" are the ones who get to write those stories but none of us are winning here. Some of us may be lucky to survive but that's about all. What we've all collectively lost is immeasurable, whether we write it down or not.

On Wednesdays 4014 chase across central Texas a moment of chaos unfolded. After the gates dropped, what I can only describe as a large individual with absolutely zero common sense and respect crossed in front of the train and over the tracks right in front of a 20 person photo line. He proceeded to give the finger to us as he crossed. After the train went by he was verbally berated by many individuals. He then quickly made his exit from the scene. This became what is known to many of us friends as..."The Harwood Incident"

Just west of Glencoe, 261 comes to a crawl and is soon to stop in a few moments to reverse back east. That biker guy in the previous photo at Glencoe apparently wasn't happy with me and yelled at me to watch where I'm going at this spot, despite him cutting me off and driving his bike on sidewalks and trails that don't allow it. Some people huh?

The aftermath of what was an eventful Tuesday morning at YVR. This Boeing 767 operating as "CargoJet (CJT) 2387" from Hamilton overran Runway 08L (at the 26R end) by over 1,800ft in the early hours of the morning. Thankfully the crew of 3 were alright and the aircraft does not seem to have too much damage to it. Although it looks like it, the nose gear did not collapse but rather dug into the muddy ground.

It is also worth noting that two nights prior to this incident, the aircraft ran its right main gear off the taxiway and into the grass when pulling into Apron 8 (CargoJet Apron)
