This photograph was taken at dusk at Upper Seletar Reservoir. There were captivating and colourful clouds with reflections in the reservoir. The combination of shapes and colours of the clouds invoke a serene feel to the beautiful landscape.

This is basically an overlay of one of my photos (grass covered in melted hoarfrost in the sunlight) with a digitally created image (T2D, DDG) I have decided to texture it since I liked the patterns of light on the face originating from the photo but wanted to soften them for better balance.
~ previously posted in colour as 'close encounter' .. something about this particular image fills my heart with joy. I love images that express freedom.

Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Crazy Tuesday is : In the middle. Mr. Teddy Bear is with us in order to celebrate Happy Teddy Bear Tuesdays. And it is a very strange coincidence, since Mr. Teddy Bear is in the middle of a very, very interesting book. It is a criminal and international intrigue and Mr. Teddy Bear loves it. He decided to take a picture when he will be exactly in the middle of his book, and that is the picture you see today.
And not only, Mr. Teddy Bear is in the middle of his book, he is also in the middle of this picture ! Isn’t that awesome ?

Today is a purple or pink day at Color my world Daily and we have an awesome theme at Smile on Saturday: in spooky company. So basically we celebrate Halloween which is tomorrow ! Is there something more spooky than objects levitating around your house ? Well, if you are me: spiders would be an answer ! So here we go: a levitating egg in spooky compagnie of spiders !

In Messina, Sicily, there is a church tower with a mechanical carillon dating from 1933. The tower is almost 50 metres high and can be climbed. From the top you have an interesting view of the church square. I took three pictures of a man crossing the square and superimposed them.
The first time Timmy and Snoop met, 6 days after Timmy moved in with me.

*Süntelbuche im Herbst*
Last Wednesday I drove to the northern Eifel to catch a few autumn moods. Fortunately, the over 200 year old dwarf beech tree on a Celtic burial mound near Blankenheim still had a few autumn-colored leaves ... and occasionally the sun came out.
Letzte Mittwoch fuhr ich in die Nordeifel, um ein paar herbstliche Stimmungen einzufangen. Die über 200 Jahre alte Süntelbuche auf einem keltischen Grabhügel bei Blankenheim hatte zum Glück noch ein paar herbstlich gefärbte Blätter...und gelegentlich zeigte sich auch die Sonne.

Today I took, wait for it 1,098 photos. 98% of them were leaf floaters like this. I LUV this one so very much. I've posted before I have even viewed the rest. I had a feeling it was going to be good. My camera screen is really small, hard for me to actually see if it is good, but I could see I liked the colours. It really do like thisone. I have several of this leave, as it moved closer and closer. Nothing was touched. The water was perfect again. I guess the high winds have blown debris to the shores. It was difficult to shoot as this wasn't my usual spot. I had to squat and capture inbetween fence posts. You might have to put up with me and my floaters considering I took amost 2,000 and if this is any indication I am goung to have heck of a time deleting. Thanks in advance to all who take the time to comment and for the kind words (hopefully) and for any fave. Have a super day. 🙋♀️🍁
Il sole ha scavalcato i profili rocciosi che chiudono la valle verso est ed ora la luce dilaga sul versante. La temperatura cancella il velo di brina dai prati e fa risplendere il bosco spoglio di carpino nero. Nel contempo la dissimmetria climatica con il versante oposto raggiunge i massimi livelli. Su quello in luce è quasi primavera; su quello in ombra è inverno profondo e senza neve ..... ..

I folded it from a rectangle 17,5x35cm kamipaper. Final height (ears included) 9,5cm.
So far March has been quite dull, windy and rainy in East Westphalia. Time to have a look at the days to come soon.

look in the eyes. Eyes show you wether it is a herbivore or a predator. The Eyes of a herbivore are at the sides of the and often they have a horizontal slot. So they can see movements better. Predators need a clear knowledge of the distance, their eyes are in front of the head and very sharp

♂ Aeshna mixta was flying this morning over the Peñarroya chimney pond in the Cartagena seaport. (5% Crop and backlight!)
It was -25 and (according to the internet it felt like -35). We had left Calgary at a little after 7:30 and trekked into the canyons. I’ve hiked to these falls numerous times before in the winter and found them completely frozen so I had been praying that they would still be running – thank full my prayers had been answered.
This was my ideal scenario, ice with the water rushing behind it. The combination of the two was something I haven’t seen a lot of before and in a week from now these falls will likely be frozen solid so luck was certainly on my side.
