MOAB, UTAH USA
The sensational drive from the local town of Moab in Utah, up the slithering roadways surrounded by seering rock faces, to Arches National Park.
Incredible beauty and steepness of the terrain, are just the entree to what is a wonderful experience up top and beyond.
If you haven't been, & you love landscapes and photography, then this place is for you. One hell of a place!!

Continuing on with a new technique - the creation of abstract imagery through heavy pixelation and right-angled effects application.
Zoom in and it's utterly abstract, pull away and a recognizable image starts to form. Might that say something about quanta and the everyday world we see ?
The original digital SLR shot was taken several years ago and was, again, an outtake from a series that was posted back then as SOOC shots. In truth, I'm sifting through my throw-aways for potentials in this new approach. Waste not, want not ...

This is an experiment - kinda my first try to make an abstraction. All comments and suggestions are very welcome!
When I first looked at this image after I'd uploaded it from my camera, I remember seeing only a close-up of a duck's head with a large eye to the left and the bill sloping away to the bottom right of the frame. But when I posted it just now, I immediately saw a legless creature slithering up a sandy slope. Now my brain can switch easily from one to the other. I think they call that 'ambiguous imagery'.
