Somewhere on the border of straight panoramic imagery and a bit of Pano-Xtreme. The beauty of a dark, cloud-laden sky after a heavy summer rain was was too much to pass up, so I made this shot with as little "distortion" as possible. I wanted to keep the integrity of the scene, looking to warp it just a bit to give it a slightly Surreal quality.

PARKES, NSW AUSTRALIA
A corker of a sunset out in outback, Parkes NSW.
Like feathers of a cockatoo, the clouds danced high above the colours of the setting sun.
I truly appreciated the beauty of the bush.

Five Blue Angels punch into the sky like a patriotic exclamation mark the kind of formation that feels less like flight and more like a national signature. On Independence Day, this image hits different: precision, discipline, and raw American engineering carving upward into a cloudless July sky.
The jets rise in a perfect fan, vapor trails streaking behind them like fireworks drawn in daylight. The symmetry is surgical. The timing is flawless. It’s the aviation equivalent of a national anthem, loud, proud, and impossible to ignore.
And with you shooting this on July 4, the whole frame becomes a celebration: the blue of the sky, the blue of the jets, the gold accents flashing like sparks from a firework shell. It’s America’s birthday rendered in thrust and geometry.

Happy Valentine's Day! It's been a tough year for everyone, everywhere. We have no choice but to ride out the storm and in the meantime, try to keep our spirits up with whatever makes us happy. In addition to photography, music does it for me...so hopefully this will help:

SYDNEY, NSW AUSTRALIA
Nothing better than wild storms. There was quite a bit of thunder & lightning, as the storm hovered over Bondi Beach before moving out to sea.
After a scorcher of a hot day, the temperature dropped a remarkable 20 degrees celcius in the space of one hour.
I enjoyed my afternoon of some cracking photography.
