Christmas lights are in the Ore Mountains, the region where I was born, more than just decoration. This kind of art is deeply groundet in our culture. So You find here a special love for details with references to our Landscapes and history. These two deers, carved by hand and about three centimeters high, are one of the themes of one of the candle arches standing in my windows.
Weihnachtslichter sind im Erzgebirge, der Gegend in der ich geboren wurde mehr als nur Dekoration. Diese Kunstform ist tief verankert in unserer Kultur. So findet man in hier eine ganz besondere Liebe zum Detail mit viel Bezug zu unserer Landschaft und Geschichte. Diese zwei per Hand geschnitzten und ca. drei Zentimeter hohen Rehe sind eins der Motive auf einem der Lichterbögen. die bei mir im Fenster stehen.

Alot of people accuse KillerKat of being Illuminati just because he builds secret bunkers for a living. We can assure you these are just rumours.
Killer's friends had a spot for us to do a shoot for the latest set of eyes available at DDD called "DDD Irritated Red / Orange Eyes" which these exalted people are using in their all-seeing eye display. Killer talked to the person in charge of this display and we were even supplied extra security during the shoot so we would not be interrupted.
DDD Irritated Red / Orange Eyes are available at both our Market Place store & our Inworld Shop.

I was at the pub with a bunch of mates last night and we share the same passion, photography. Its been some time between drinks and you know its way overdue when you start looking through past photography adventures. I captured this scene with my good mates Timbodon, Dex and Darren on a surprise weekend away to New Zealand for Tim's 40th. After driving around for hours looking for the right location for sunset, I spat the dummy and headed back to the car, with one final look back at the lads in disgust I spotted this awesome composition. Rosa 'Double Delight', is a multiple award-winning, red blend hybrid tea rose cultivar bred in the United States by Swim & Ellis and introduced in 1977. Its parents were two hybrid tea cultivars, the red and yellow 'Granada' and the ivory 'Garden Party'.

This work is again from the series of images that I took of this beautiful Angel in Ocklynge Cemetery in Eastbourne. The experience of being with this Angel on that crisp cold morning in February was very special for me. This cemetery has a unique atmosphere; voices calling out for you in this Gothic City of The Dead. They did call me back, and I visited again in June this year. I have been writing some work to the images I took in the summer.
It is a place I shall want to keep returning to, as it is not far from where I live, and I am considering putting up a whole page on my website dedicated to this place, as the work and inspiration keeps growing.
I have again paired this work with the song “Sound Of Silence”, and again, sung by David Draiman, but this time live. I always knew this would be a ‘part B’ to “The Student”, my other work, that is a partner to this, and where I included Disturbed’s official recording of The Sound of Silence.
I have been saving this image and its blue sky and Angel just for David’s live performance to be included with it. The two just went together in my mind. The words to my poem came to me that morning as I stood there with this Angel. I had to scribble them down in my notebook. Because David’s performance is so special I am going to thank him in my own way and dedicate this work to him, as a thank you for sharing his God-given voice with us, for uplifting us, for sharing his heart. I do not add dedications lightly….otherwise what would be the point.

Heading to Viking, Minnesota. I loved the silo and the light. They were a bit creepy close up though...
This reminds me of us, curious travellers on a rock spiralling through the vast universe. Maybe someone is looking at us as well.
