It's been a couple of months after I came to live in Puerto Natales. Chilean Patagonia, land of adventures, wild life and good food.
This day was my actual first day as a Guide in a Full Day bus trip, which I was totally nervous to confront. With a little bit of luck and guts, I came to experience an epic day, flowing through stormy weather into windows that would show the mountain complex as well as spaces for the wildlife to unite.
Nearly at the end of the day, we happened to stumble upon a harem of Guanacos (Lama guanicoe), and only a little further we spotted a delivering Guanaco, in the middle of the process! I couldn't believe what I was seeing, neither did my passengers.
I thank existence for this beautiful opportunity. This is a moment I will never forget.

Guanacos take 11 months to deliver. They do this during the months of November to January only having 1 Chulengo (Baby guanaco) a year. Then, after a week, it'll mate with the male.
