This is another shot from the place where I live, Le Marche, in the central part of Italy. I live 10 minutes far from sea and 2 hours far from mountains, so I can go hiking every time I want. In this shot you can see Monte Bove and its cross in the highest point (2169 meters).
Sibillini mountains are magical places, full of legends about fairies, oracles, necromancers and other creatures.
Next time I'm gonna tell you one of this legends.
Hello there! This stunning place is Castelluccio di Norcia in Italy, one of the most magical places I've ever seen (in fact there are a lot of legends about fairies and other creatures). During summer the lowland that you see is full of multicolored flowers, google "Castelluccio di Norcia" and enjoy it!
I took this photo on a bike ride around Sarnano the other day. I quite liked the contrast of the pretty little spring flowers in the field and the looming sky!
I took this photo last year at Gola di Infernaccio. I quite fancy having it blown up (rather largely - 140 x 100) on my bedroom wall... Any thoughts?! Terrible mistake?! It'll be my first proper experiment with getting anything printed on canvas! Questa e' la prima foto che avrei mai stampato su tele (abbastanza grande a 140 x 100) - che ne pensate?!)

I saw many places around the world and I left a piece of my heart in each of them. But the biggest one is always here. For me, the best place in the world.
I took this at Lago di Fiastra in the Sibillini Mountains a couple of weeks ago. It's been raining ever since!
My dear friends, say hello to my new lens! I tried it during the weekend and I'm already in love with it. This lens is available for different mirrorless camera (no adapter needed). On my SONY A6000 works in aperture priority (A mode): you have to set the aperture (and focus of course) and the camera will automatically adjust the shutter speed. Such an incredible lens for quality and price. Unfortunately no EXIF are available with the lens.

I had a lovely walk with some friends up on the Banditelle Ridge towards Monte Vettore, the highest mountain in the Sibillini Mountain Range. Milly did a wonderful job of running around between the walk participants! She must have gone 20 times further than us at the end of the day (at the very least!).
Sunset at Lago di Caccamo. I decided that I would investigate one of the local lakes, Lago di Caccamo the other day. I'm not sure I would recommend it! I had to climb over a wall and traipse through a big of bog to get to this spot, otherwise it's all sectioned off for the energy company. A pity! Still, the sunset made up for the poor accessibility!
This temple is in the mountains in Genga. It looks like a model here but trust me, it's massive! I had carefully waited until I was alone to take the photo but in fact, some people might have helped to scale it!
Keeping on the mountain theme, here's a picture I took on a walk around the Piani di Ragnolo recently in the Sibillini Mountains. The trees are usually green this time of year but the frost got to them after they'd started producing their leaves.
I took this picture the other week on a trek around the Piani di Ragnolo by Sassotetto in the Sibillini Mountains. It was a lovely walk, though it was a bit threatening on the weather front! Luckily we escaped getting soaked and the clouds make for some lovely photos.
This beautiful panorama was taken on a walk from "Forca da Presta" just beneath Monte Vettore, the highest mountain in the Sibillini mountain range. Absolutely beautiful day. There was a bit of "foschia" (mist/haze) but usually you can even see the sea from up there. The Mountain on the left is Vettore.
It's been quite moody here in the last few weeks! I was talking this picture as inspiration for a painting but I've decided I quite like it as a photo too!
I found some beautiful lakes in Montecosaro last weekend and found a group of adorable big mice looking things! On further research, I've discovered they're called Nutria. Very cute and excellent swimmers and remarkably difficult to photograph (for an amateur like me anyway!)
This was taken around Filotrano, Le Marche (Italy) at the weekend. All of the hills around here at the moment look like they've been combed!
I live in Italy on the Adriatic Coast, near Ancona. Here you can see a spectacular phenomenon: the fog totally covered the Adriatic Sea and my home was completely embraced by it.
