C1880. Red brick; tiled roof. In a Norman Shaw style. Three storeys,
asymmetrical. Solid white porch with coupled pilasters and segmental pediment.
In the projecting gable behind, 2 first floor segment headed sash windows and
an elaborately framed second floor window with a gablet of foliage. Big
chimney breast to the left with ribbed stack and a modern ground floor segment
headed window. The projecting wing to the right hipped roofed with a ground
floor canted bay window. 2 first floor segment headed sash windows and a
hipped dormer window with foliage panel beneath. The centre bay with 2 ground
floor and one first floor segment headed sash windows and a dormer window with
triangular pargetted and dentilled pediment. Garden front with 2 big canted
bay windows of different sizes.

It rained mostly for the couple of hours that I was there.
The land was formerly a back garden to houses on the Bristol Road. The current volunteers have been running it for around 30 years or so.
Martineau Gardens is a community garden on Priory Road in Edgbaston, Birmingham, England. It adjoins the Priory Hospital on Bristol Road. It features over two acres of woodland and formal gardens. The Gardens are administered by a registered charity and are a member of the Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens

C1850. Lodge. Diapered brick and stucco dressings; tile roof. In an Elizabethan
style. Two storeyed shaped gable with 4 centred doorway within a lean-to porch
and a mullioned and transomed window on both floors. Long single storeyed wing
to the right with a canted hip roof beneath which a window under an ogee hood
mould flanked by 2 mullioned and transomed windows and, in the sides, 3 light
windows with stepped heads beneath little shaped gables. The front such window
blocked, that on the back with leaded lights. At the back, a later stuccoed
gabled wing.

Caroline Chamberlain, was the wife of Joseph Chamberlain Sr, she died at Moor Green in August 1875

Symmetrical composition with central semi-circular pediment with 2 tiers of radiating arches with glazing bars and doors below a cornice and, left and right, lower glasshouses with long pitched roofs in 2 steps parallel with the terrace. Arched glazing bars on a brick moulded plinth. Roofs inside of timber and on iron brackets with circular spandrels.

The Peter Sowerby Bandstand, Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Restored and re-painted in 2021. The previous restoration was in 1973, but by the late 2010s the paintwork was fading.
