those idiots are clever - they decided that a sitting human is less dangerous than a standing human and they appeared only when I sat down .-)

this spring we could watch two families bringing up their kids on one on the trees .-)

What idiot says you can't have a human in a landscape shot?

Stood at the start of the path through Glen Etive

We were heading up to Glencoe when I spotted all the cloud around the mountains, when I asked for permission to throw the car into the next layby. I did this despite the crater sized potholes and immediately saw this bloke up on a bank. In a flash I was out the car, feet never touching the surface of the water which surrounded the car and firing shots from the hip in a spray from left to right to grab the pano before he had time to move. Sort of.

Anyway, a suggestion: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhidA1jEUjo

The winter weather is absolutely brutal as Metra 143 heads outbound with a Union Pacific Northwest Line train, passing under the searchlights at Clybourn Junction, Chicago. Windchills were well below -20 degrees F, and raw, ripping wind was driving powdery snow into every crevice. Risking frostbite and hypothermia like an idiot, I stood outside on the platform for over an hour here to document the (Covid-reduced) "rush" in some of the most intense winter conditions Chicago had seen in a few years.

What is one thing the average driver can't stand? Well of course one answer could be a slow driver in the fast lane, Highway Patrol posted up in the most annoying spot possible, or maybe even that damn check engine light. However, the answer I was looking for was waiting for a train, and during this trip for the crew of a southbound, they would see three cars try to beat the train. One was a truck just south of Maxwell, which a buddy and I saw, another in Arbuckle, and then another here just outside Williams. However, this driver was particularly stupid.

Although my friend and I didn't see this happen as we were taking photos at the time, another friend who was one of the crew members explained to me what happened. As the train was approaching the crossing, a white SUV went around the gates in an attempt to beat the train, but then suddenly stopped. Although there was nobody in front of this car, whoever was driving then proceeded to backup almost into the gate, and due to the angle of the crossing got within only a few feet at most of being hit, narrowly avoiding an expensive and embarrassing trip to the auto shop. The crew obviously was pissed, and the conductor got out to yell at the driver as they passed by. It was only after the power had passed that my friend and I on the ground noticed the SUV, and we laughed knowing well that driver probably needed a new pair after that.

🎶🎼 Chanson de TV on the Radio ‧ 2014 🎼🎶 So, I shut it off

So, I shut it all off

So, I shut it off

So, I shut it all off

(Oh, oh, oh) It's been a long way down (Oh, oh, oh)

It's been a long way down

What you don't know won't hurt you, yeah

Ignorance is bliss

I'm a happy idiot

Waving at cars

I'm gonna bang my head to the wall

'Til I feel like nothing at all

I'm a happy idiot

Very early, very windy and very cold, but nothing was keeping this person from a selfie. Luckily the young are beyond danger - even when sitting outside the barrier. Just please... don't sneeze.

(Very impressed with Pure Raw's improvement on this one. The details really jumped up and the noise vanished)

A little cat watches over the water.

But it's not a kitten, just a play on words

Finally, if we don't want to live stupid

Because in Breton, “kitty” is not feline,

It’s a point, a sailor’s landmark.

A secret path, between rock and current,

Let the lighthouse shine from the east.

So, on its paved pier of time,

Follow the stones that lead to the sunset.

And discover this guardian

With a name so sweet, almost childish,

Which scratches the azure when the day goes out.

Don't wanna be an American idiot

Don't want a nation under the new media

And can you hear the sound of hysteria?

There are two Little Orange Idiot twins. It’s hard to tell them apart.

Sand dunes at Porto Pino. South Sardinia.

They have become a tourist attraction, so the idiots write their epitaph on the sand.

(You can see other pictures of these dunes in my album "Dunes" - link in this page below at right)

i'm yet again unsure weather to upload this but it was so much hassle i'm going too, the is not as much done on PS as it looks, i flipped one eye over to get pattern even and got rid of texture around mouth and added a couple of sparkles to head phones, it was very painful to have mud that close to my eye's with layers of paint over i am an idiot and should of added texture on PS in stead of doing it for real!!!! i have to say all so i haven't seen avatar and this is nothing to do with it i just love that colour.

Taken when the temps were in negative numbers, an ice fisherman patiently waits for a nibble.

I was thinking, what kind of idiot sits on the ice and fishes when it's below zero. He was thinking, what kind of idiot stands out in below zero weather and takes pictures of ice fishing? LOL!!

Dangerous surf at Newcastle's main beach meant it was closed to swimmers and flagged as such. The bloke centre frame decided that didn't apply to him, jumped in off the rocks out of frame on the left and proceeded to head south through the surf zone. He made it, with a sizeable audience on shore, but with no regard for the lifesavers who would have been obliged to rescue him if he got into trouble.

I regret a lot of things in this life but putting my studies in front of my 3 month vacation is by far one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. When did this happen? I should've just sat there and ate my food but noooo, I wanted to be an idiot and responsible and then I didn't know I'd have this job opportunity and meet some1 and b in love and holy shit what happened ?

Update:

When I posted this I was barely home and even when I was, I did not have any time at all to do anything.

It's March now, almost April. Due to the virus, I am always home... I figured by this time of the year I'd have even less time here. Really, really fucked up how things can change out of the blue.. holy fuck

Update 2:

It's July now and everything is still shit :-) hope everyone is safe

Update 3:

This sign in the boat parking area at Tinchi Tamba Wetlands says it all. A reflection on a section of today's society. Need I say more?

Copper theft is rampant these days, the railways suffer badly from it because electrics tend to be needed along tracks for signalling and points and sports clubs who have overhead lighting are another long suffering target.
