Another busy day at London Gatwick
OH-LSD Sud Aviation Caravelle 10B3 is seen arriving at the stand on a CTA (Compagnie de Transport Aerien) flight at London Gatwick. The aircraft had been leased from Finnair and carried an odd hybrid livery.
G-BEVN Boeing Boeing 707-321C of Pelican Cargo is over in the newly built cargo area.
OH-LSD 'Oulu' c/n 187 - Sud Aviation Caravelle 10B3 Super B - was delivered new to Finnair in Sep 1964 and flew with the airline until 1984, when it was sold to Altair (Italy) as I-GISO. Three years later, it was sold again, this time to Europe Aero Service (EAS) as F-GELP. In 1989 the aircraft passed to ACI Air Charter International and in 1992 to Air Toulouse International. It flew throughout the 1990s and was only retired in 2004, being broken up at Toulouse.
CTA Compagnie de Transport Aerien was set up by Swissair to rival SATA S.A. de Transport Aerien Geneve - after SATA lost a Caravelle in a crash at Funchal in Dec 1977, the airlines were merged in 1978 with SATA's assets being transferred to CTA. SATA Caravelles HB-ICI, ICN, ICO & ICQ were operated by CTA until 1987/88. Finnair Caravelles OH-LSD & LSG supplemented the fleet in the summers of 1980 & 1983 respectively.
282 Caravelles were produced between 1955 and 1973. The Caravelle 10B (Super Caravelle) variant was primarily operated by Finnair, the launch customer. More information here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sud_Aviation_Caravelle

Although PCS reps were excellent, even when requested further to my own request for assistance, by many people including an MP, Embassy and 3 Community Organisations access to PCS Legal Department for advice or representation was never provided by PCS Union throughout the 34 years of this case.
Rule 10 complaint
Supplementary Rule 10 procedures should be used rarely and only for the most serious cases. For example, they should not be used to deal with arguments between members. The kinds of disciplinary offences which Rule 10 is designed to deal with include the following:
