Is there something boiling inside this ice-drop? I had already that idea, before I saw that Flickr tagged it as 'food', somehow related.

Drift ice was floating down the Fraser River.

The rays of the full moon licking the ice with just a smidgeon of color. Cass Lake, Minnesota.

Frozen landscape form the top of the "Serra da Estrela"

On a recent visit to the John R Park Homestead near Kingsville, Ontario, I experienced a sunrise like no other. The air temperature was minus 10 celsius with a wind chill of minus 25. Strong wind gusts from the southwest pushed waves from Lake Erie against the shore. As the waves hit the break wall, the spray created interesting ice formations.

An iceberg drifting in the Fjallsarlon glacier lagoon. Must have turned upside down. I wonder, how these linear structures have been created under water before.

An ice fragment deposited on the shore by a receding tide glows gem-like in the arctic sun.
