A poll of snow melting in the Alps gives splendid tones and hues of blue while reflecting the mountains and the sky. A simple shot but some wonderful colors.
A frozen drop from last night! I was able to take a photo of it this morning, before the sun melted it.
On the south side of Deer Lodge Montana I spotted a 15 foot column of bluish ice in a field by a pipe yard. I asked around but no one knew how it was created but that they thought it was meant as a work of art

Last years trip to Grand Island. I had around 30 pictures that had been saved to a laptop that crashed. I was lucky enough to have a friend retrieve them for me recently Made my day, because, that was a great trip!
Dusk or dawn –it was around midnight– in the pack ice bordering Snow Hill Island, east of the Antarctic Peninsula.

Winter impression.
This is one the first photos I took at the start of the winter here medium december. The icy rain causes the texture.
Spring is definitely here now, it will be 16 degrees tomorrow ;-))
