fashion dolls have been blamed for promoting unrealistic image for girls i used to not believe it, until i see this anorexic looking doll, its one of those barbie clones. Just look at her arms and legs so skinny!
Andrea suggested that I paint one of the bodies I picked up and I kind of had to at that point. I loved this girl on her petite body, but I love her more with articulation!
Checking the Barbie aisle I found a lone palentologist Barbie. Beyond being beautiful she is a triumph in the Barbie career verse for finding a way to best include pink while still being a realistic depiction of the chosen career. Great job, Babs! Now, if only you could shrink the heads to a normal size again.
For so long i haven't had any interest in the disney princess dolls because we have the Simba dolls. It was cheap and poorly made, finally the mattel versions are here!
*just one question i know there's a line where the dolls have some articulation with there hands and i keep on reading its form the disney store, but is it also made by mattel?

The biggest surprise ever was this gem though. I remember her from toyfair last year but NEVER saw her until yesterday. I'd already spent too much buying some much needed blue jeans (mine were threadbare in the worst place) and was at depleted funds, but I'm wishing I got her now as she's adorable and comes with some adorable tech stuff.
Not to mention she was the only one there. But if I'm meant to have her, I will.
Bought this 'I Can Be' Barbie outfit just for HHBloodgood - I just couldn't resist when I saw that 'horse' shirt ! Both the shirt and pants fit well as-is, but I'm going to take in the blouse, so the neckline lies flat. It even comes with carrots for Nightmare, and a pair of tall brown boots for Barbie. The ankle on those Barbie boots is about half the size of any MH one.
And she finally told me her first name. It's 'Abigail', which means (looks it up)...'head of a monastery' or 'a father's joy'. How appropriate !
I've gotten her to fit some Ken shoes, but that really only helps her for loafers and tennis shoes. I gotta start learning how to make doll shoes...

In time with the Mars landing I decided to post this picture, I think Lea is the perfect model for this.
I also like the fashion pack but it could have been better maybe if they included the gloves...and also a real plastics flag pole.
Fulla is the arabic counter part for barbie. Its is made by a company called "New Boy" She has very conservative wardrobe and you will never see here in a bathing suite or having a boyfriend. I think they copuld have done better for her face mold as arabs have way more prettier features than these. ( they actually look like kardashians most of them) but i think they wanted to make fulla child like and not have any sexy undertones at all.
6 - 8 President Barbies, only in AA & CA. Interestingly, Mattel was lazy on the clip art and AA has CA's face on hers. Hrm....
I was excited with these fashion packs but still thinking of what to get. I like the purple one with stars on it as well as the one with ruffles on the top. But i think its sad the the clothes now for barbie are so simple and its always a one piece dress.
mermaid tales dolls are available here, im not sure if its available in other countries as well. is it? pls let me know.
I love the new tales its more realistic and they cover the waist part now with rubber like material so you don't see the articulation in here middle area which i think was so ugly before!
and also the tales are more mermaid like compared to thin serpent like tales of the first mermadia dolls.
