Catching up on photographing & posting index cards for the past couple of days on my Facebook page Studio iHanna - follow me there too to get more artsy stuff! This is a detail of yesterday's index card, acrylics & gold shimmer. Mmm!

I never physically met him, but fell in love with Jake, fur-child of a friend, through hilarious videos, pics, and tales of antics. A copy of her Tombow marker 'painting' of him from 2014

A red/orange rose just beginning to open....watercolors, ink, fabric and black thread stitching on an index card. #icad2016 day 21 'invent a prompt'

Today's prompt is 'bouquet'....I couldn't resist a bouquet of radishes from the farmer's market....fabric appliquéd and stitched on an index card. #icad2016 day15 #fabric art

Why not a chicken compass?? #icad2016 Day9 Compass (phMartenLiquidWatercolors, oil pastels, brush pen)

Art in the car; using methods from Pocket Sketching workshop. Based on photo of echinacea in the front yard.

I love when the prompt coincides with my favorite color. Someone once said, 'wear red and be noticed, wear orange and be remembered!'....lol #icad2016 day18 'orange' fabric collaged on an index card....stitched in place.

And when someone said "How can a cloud be a rectangle?"...I knew I had it right! One cloud can be anything! Oil pastels, newsprint, stitching...Day5 #icad2016 cloud

What if?....pyramids were red and round?....watercolors and thread on an index card...Day2 #ICAD2016 pyramid

My island landscape....the sun is full of color, a blanket of trees, and the sky and water become one. Watercolor, pen and ink,...and the sun is made up of many bits of yellow fabric stitched down on one of those drink coasters from a restaurant - all composed on an index card! ....#icad2016 day 17 'landscape'.

Baseball....Day11 ICAD2016 watercolor, stitching, paper applique

Love my stamp I had made in Bangkok. I always forget I have it!! (HAHA, I think it's upside down... I can never remember the correct orientation!)

I live on an island where the sunsets are stunning, and which is surrounded by more islands. When I first moved here from a city (where the mountains were always to the north), I was confused in my directions because there was water on all sides. Access is by a bridge. gesso, gouache, watercolors, oil pastels, stitching on an index card. #icad2016 Day 8

A logo easily recognized even without words...#icad2016 Day22 #neon Watercolors, watercolor pencils, ink on an index card

ICAD Day27 'motel'.....watercolors, ink, and black thread stitching on an index card. #icad#icad2016#motel 1 of 2

Acrylic paint on waste paint paper with colored pencil.

Pyramid shapes were discovered in the paint left over from previous projects.

Day3 of ICAD2016...."Snoopy"....and taken quite literally I look for and find Woodstock....or maybe it is a flower? hmmmm!

Those of us who became adults in the 60's remember the mantra..."sex, drugs, and rock 'n'roll"....it was a lively bunch of years of war, protests, "sit ins"...civil rights, the Beatles...Woodstock - , bell bottoms and mini skirts...it was transformative for many of us. Love beads embodied the energy and color of those years. Watercolor and ink on an index card. #icad2016 Day 20

Magenta pants I'd love to make! #icad2016 day24 'magenta'...watercolors, fabric bits, and black stitching on an index card.

I make lists for any and most reasons...things to do, things to remember, and any and all. Couple this with a challenge to make a list a day to a prompt for a month, and I'm in. These are two lists I made for such a challenge...and now, they are part of my #icad2016 Day6 Top Ten Lists. Pastel oils, gesso, gouache, and some good glue. !

Neocolour II and more magazine scraps...

Art in the car. Theme: lighthouse (abstract). Watercolor paint on a receipt, which was then torn into scraps, conveying "house" and "light."
