Day 23 (Explored.)

Mandala is one I made in Paint Shop Pro, using liquid matte medium to make an acrylic 'skin' transfer. Then Inktense blocks (not diluted), some Uniball white pen and pink acrylic paint dabbed with bubble wrap.

I didn't even know I was planning this - it just happened in about five minutes. Amazing how that happens sometimes. Pale pink card, dylusions stencil & inks, raindrops stamp www.facebook.com/pages/Designs-by-Ryn-Rubber-Stamps/10991... stamped with Archival ink, printed text and oil pastel to outline the text :D

What lies beneath

i just couldn't cut the ties

We had a "working" long weekend for the 4th. But, late today, we took time for ourselves & sat at the outdoor table & played with Daniel's Mom's old water color paints.

I will embellish these for additional ICADS.

I worked on this one over a period of days. I kept adding more & more layers. Once again, the white gel pen makes things pop!

June 21 was just too hot to be very creative, so I did a quick background of acrylic, gesso and Inktense pencils, then cut out some magazine photos to add. Also a fortune from cookie (Panda Express)...the nose I painted on myself.

THE CROW

pencil/pen drawing with watercolor and stitching on the branches - some of the branch brown was pigment made in the workshop i attended last weekend... if you look a few photos back in the flickr post you can see the field book that we made.. a wonderful class

I never physically met him, but fell in love with Jake, fur-child of a friend, through hilarious videos, pics, and tales of antics. A copy of her Tombow marker 'painting' of him from 2014

Tissue paper and Washi Tape. Daniel put the ICAD in a frame we bought at Tuesday Mornings from the Clearance section. We'll eventually use the frame for a photo instead of ICADS.

It is suddenly warm & summer is upon us. So, it is time to break out the index cards and play!
