Por primera vez use (jugué en realidad 😆) filtros especiales para definir mejor el entorno y reducir la contaminación lumínica, aunque disipó la luz y algunas nubes cercanas sobre un costado y me gustó el resultado final.

Amigos de #Flickr, regreso después de un largo periodo de 4 años sin publicar. Obviamente que siempre ingreso porque sigo a muchos aquí y comento fotos y proyectos interesantes. Espero tener continuidad 👌. Ahora hace tiempo que estoy incursionando en la #astrofotografia. Claro que aprendiendo y sumando cursos y prácticas! El día de esta foto, a pesar del viento fuerte y algo de frío, pude realizar muchas capturas trackeadas y luego apiladas incluyendo 400 fotografías y así lograr nuevamente nuestra “Luna de minerales o de colores”. La realidad es que los colores están, solo hay que lograr su correcto apilado y saturación. Los resultados a veces dependerán de diversos factores climáticos y de turbulencias en el aire y atmósfera.

#Luna del miércoles 10/7 Creciente Cóncava 23%.

Cada vez más conforme con la montura iExos 100 v2 de Explorer Scientific, que demostró su sencillez para la puesta en estación y su alineación a la polar.

Fue la tarde/noche más fría pero la noche se presentó ideal porque había poca turbulencia atmosférica y logramos capturas de 7000 imágenes para luego hacer el apilado.

Although I have been doing this type of photograph for some time, I am still amazed to point the focus in the darkness of nightsky and see this type of objects and colors.

In the image you can see the result of my first assault on this object, the North American nebula NGC 7000 and the pelican IC5070, which are located in the Cygnus constellation. NGC 7000 is a large nebula that covers an area equivalent to the full moon and the distance that separates us from NGC 7000, nor the star responsible for the ionization of hydrogen that produces the emission of light, is not precisely known.

Coming soon a second round with more than the 30min of exposure I did in this one and with calibration sockets.

M42, NGC 1976, The Orion Nebula.

The Orion Nebula is a diffuse nebula located in the constellation of Orion. It is visible as the middle star in Orion’s sword, south of the belt. It is a stellar nursery, or a region of space where gasses collapse and form stars. It is also the closest region of star formation to Earth.

This image is a composite of about 400 exposures, 15 seconds each, for a combined imaging time of about 100 minutes. The nebula is approximately 1350 light years away, meaning that the light captured for these images was emitted 1350 years ago.

This is the most successful imaging session of a deep sky object that I’ve had to date, as I have historically bad luck with weather.
