It is an intentional decision that my first image for 2014 is a clean and minimalistic one. It marks a new year, new beginnings albeit a psychological one - because in truth, dates only mark time for our purposes of scheduling. A new day is a new day, and it happens every single day. Looking back is for those who cannot look forward.

In 2012, I completed a Creative 365 Project. I will make a valiant attempt this year again. But marked with more images that I don't normally do: landscapes, florals, self portraits that don't reflect a disaster zone, perhaps. I am also abandoning titling my images to return to my belief that art when surrendered to the public to be viewed should and must be interpreted by the viewer. The intention by its creator is beside the point. It is, what it is.
