Ios island, Greece, famous for partying in night clubs, and then of course there's the charming hilltop island capital village, I avoided stopping at this island in the past, this time a ferry strike caused a last minute change in my itinerary (damn the fuckers, but Greece wouldn't be Greece without strikes) , but it worked out fine in the end, the island is just as pretty as the others, and much better value than Mykonos or Santorini. Night view coming tomorrow, no photos of drunk young backpackers vomiting in the streets, I promise.

Skarkos is an early Bronze Age settlement on the island of Ios. Owing to its well preserved state, Skarkos is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the Aegean and especially the Cyclades.
