Hi everyone, I'm posting this image today for an accurate I.D. of this strange White Ibis, it's because of the coloration that I'm asking, if you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Just thought I'd mention that this Wednesday morning (30-12-15) from about 8:30 to 10:30 looks like being good for storm photos at Porthcawl Lighthouse. Sunrise is 08:20, High tide is 09:19 and the forecast is for strong winds. There are no guarantees, it may not be the strongest storm of recent years, but if the forecast doesn't change it should be worth a visit - oh, and be careful out there!
Any excuse to post a Porthcawl photo, eh? This is a crop of a photo I held back on previously as I thought people would not see the lighthouse in the wave. On reflection you lot are more observant than that, so I may post the full version later today for you to compare.

same bear as posted yesterday. He is young here and I'd imagine by now he is huge. This was taken in 2013 and if he's grown into his legs and paws, he is a boar to reckon with.

Complete with all the debris from her latest strike this beautiful lady treated me to several poses. Despite all my barnie pics this is one I have seldom achieved and certainly not close up.

Thought I'd join in with all the snowdrop pics. Taken with my new and, as of yet, not very well used macro lens during a local walk for local people. I've added a bit of split toning in an attempt at creating a certain "feel", whatever that means.
Hope you are all well and staying safe.

I thought I'd make use of the snow we have and made a tiny snowperson (can't quite figure out if it's a snowman or snowwoman). It was more difficult than I thought, for starters I couldn't make round balls or anything even at all. I think I would be a failure as a sculptor. I gave it a tiny deco bottle and something you'd put in a cocktail in lieu of arms and I used narrow ribbons around the neck and a wider one as hat. I was so sad I didn't have a little knitted toy hat somewhere. Whatever I used as eyes and nose and mouth kept falling off the snow head, no tiny coals or carrots in the house.
I cropped it quite a bit to conform with the MM rules.

I'd still like to share more of my winter shots wirh you, even though we have now had a couple of sunny spring-like days. It's so rare that we have snow, I just enjoyed the winter scenes. Hope you do, too.
